ABOUT ME

Hello, I am Ming En! Or as many would call me - Ming. I was raised in Singapore and I am now based in Bristol having attained my BA(Hons) in 'Filmmaking' at the University of the West of England (UWE). Prior to that, I also achieved a Merit Diploma for 'Digital Film and Television' at Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore.In my 5 years as a filmmaking student, I took on a multitude of roles in various films and commercials, including writing and directing a few of my own films. In Singapore, I also had the privilege to be a Casting Assistant, which has provided me with experiences in many professional industry productions.Apart from filmmaking, I also had the opportunity to be a Writer for an original musical production for Bristol’s Malaysian-Singaporean Night (MSNight) 2025/26.With a strong passion for both film and theatre, I am always seeking out opportunities to enhance my skills across multiple mediums and build my versatility as a creative professional.

Good knowledge on production documents (budgeting and scheduling)

Adobe After Effects (including roto brush, and special VFX with plug-ins)
